On December 13, the 2024 Africa High-level Policy Dialogue on "Promoting the Implementation of Higher Education Strategies in the Era of Artificial Intelligence" was held in Dakar, Senegal. The conference was organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the UNESCO Centre for Innovation in Higher Education (Shenzhen, China) (hereinafter referred to as the "Innovation Centre"), and the National Centre of the International Institute for Online Education (IIOE) in Senegal, Universite Gaston Berger, Senegal. UGB, Universite Amadou Mahtar Mbow (UAM), Universite Numerique Cheikh Hamidou KANE, Co-hosted by UN-CHK. The conference brought together more than 220 senior government officials from the field of higher education, college management and teaching staff, business representatives, industry experts, representatives of international and regional organizations and other partners from various African subregions and other regions to jointly discuss African higher education issues in the era of artificial intelligence. Chairman and CEO Wu Zhentao was invited to attend the conference as a keynote speaker, and shared the innovative achievements and experience of Xuanshi Intelligence in the field of smart education at the conference.
The deep integration of AI+ higher education leads the digital innovation and development of higher education
In his keynote speech, Wu Zhentao reviewed the past cooperation with the Innovation Center, especially the smart classroom project implemented in Asian and African countries, and proposed new ideas to promote the deep integration of AI+ higher education and lead the development of digital innovation in higher education. He stressed that the use of digital technology and artificial intelligence technology to promote the transformation of higher education is the key to achieve the improvement of education quality in the future, and introduced the empowering role of intelligent AI intelligent education terminal in teaching management. And the smart plan to cooperate with universities to build AIGC professional curriculum system, build AIGC talent service center and provide smart classroom construction and operation and maintenance services to provide strong support for the digital transformation of African higher education. He also mentioned that the company will further strengthen cooperation with the innovation center to promote talent training innovation, and jointly build a smart ecological higher education service model with local governments, universities and enterprises in Africa.

During the conference, Wu Zhentao had in-depth exchanges with El Hadji Abdourahmane Diouf, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation of Senegal. The two sides discussed how to further promote the digital transformation of higher education in Africa, and the future development strategy of smart education in the African market. Minister El Hadji Abdourahmane Diouf expressed his appreciation for the innovative achievements in the field of smart education and hoped that Smart will provide more advanced educational technologies and solutions to African countries.
